Once the chestnut trees’ scent pales in Bucharest, the acacia trees’ fragrance appears. The town of lovers smells so fine in Spring. I think only in Summer it smells better, because of the linden trees. But I will tell you about this later 🙂
Sometimes, especially in Spring, Bucharest is light-flooded. So light-flooded that everybody looks so happy.
One of the best places in Bucharest, the town of lovers, is the Herăstrău Park. Especially in spring. Full of happy people, full of flowers, full of light.
Just take a look.
Life in Bucharest, the town of lovers, revolves between two important moments: Easter and Christmas. And now it is Easter, again. Happy Easter and enjoy some fresh photos!
The wax cherry tree has gone mad right in front of our window. His tiny white flowers simply explode.
It is Spring in Bucharest, again. So, let there be Love in the town of lovers.
And one more thing. Wax cherry tree (corcoduș in Romanian) is, to my mind, the most common tree in south of Romania (and Bucharest, of course). Why is wax cherry tree so loved in this part of the world I do not know. All I know it is a wild and beautiful tree. And that it reminds me of my childhood. Especially in spring.
