What is the most annoying prejudice against Bucharest? Air quality in Bucharest, I dare say. It is so frustrating to hear again and again that Bucharest is one of the most polluted capitals of Europe. It is not true.
Maybe Bucharest is not the cleanest of all European towns, but air quality is pretty good. Please, do not trust me. Just check one of the Real-Time Air Quality Indexes available (I suggest the Romanian Agency for Environment Protection’s site)
Or, if you prefer another kind of argument, just take a look at the trees in Bucharest. They are rather healthy and in good condition, in my opinion.
